In this article we listed the latest Covid 19 briefings in Kenya.

Today, 13 people have tested positive from a sample size of 453 tested in the last 24 hours. 5 are male while 8 are female.

The youngest is aged 6 months while the oldest is 58 years old.

Total confirmed positive cases are now 342,805 with cumulative tests so far conducted standing at 3,966,766.

In terms of County distribution, 8 of the cases are from Siaya, Kiambu 2, while Nairobi, Kakamega and Machakos have 1 case each.

Distribution of positive cases by age is as follows; 0-9 years (6), 10-19 years (1), 20-29 years (2), 30-39 (0), 40-49 (1) 50-59 (3), 60 years and above (0).

Today, 3 patients have recovered from the disease, and all are from
the Home based Care and Isolation program.

This pushes the total recoveries to 337,038 of whom 283,306 are from the Home Based Care and Isolation program, while 53,732 are from various health facilities across the country.

No fatalities were recorded during the period under review so the cumulative fatalities remain at 5,688.

Cumulative deaths by age remain; 0-9 years (62), 10-19 years (44), 20-29 (152), 30-39 years (415), 40-49 years (654), 50-59 years (1,034), 60 years and above (3,327).

There are 12 patients currently admitted in our health facilities, while 66 are under the Home-Based Isolation and Care program.

No patient is on supplemental oxygen, or is in the ICU.
