04. Tharaka South Sub-county

The sub-county is known for its fertile agricultural land and produces crops such as maize, beans, and bananas.

05. Muthambi Sub-County

Muthambi sub-county is located in the central part of Tharaka Nithi County. The sub-county has an estimated population of 26,511 people, according to the 2019 census. The administrative center of Muthambi sub-county is Kathwana town.

06. Tharaka North Sub County

Tharaka North Sub County is located in Tharaka-Nithi County, Kenya. It’s a predominantly rural area known for agriculture, with coffee and tea as the major crops. It’s home to various tourist attractions and has a population of around 63,000 people.
