BBI in Kenya refers to the Building Bridges Initiative. It is a political initiative that was launched in 2018 by President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga with the aim of addressing various political and social issues affecting the country. The BBI task force was formed to collect views and opinions from Kenyans and propose constitutional amendments to address these issues.

The initiative has generated a lot of debate and controversy, with some Kenyans supporting it while others are opposed to it. The BBI proposals were subjected to a referendum in 2021, but the process was stopped by the courts due to constitutional irregularities.
